Conference Bridge

The Conference Bridge feature of Hosted PBX services lets a group of people (dozens or even hundreds of people) to take part in a phone call/conference phone call. It is a very common mode of the bridge that allows participants to dial into a virtual conference/meeting room from their own phone.

• A Conference Bridgesystem can have different conference rooms and each room can have multiple participants. A total number of rooms and participants greatly varies based on hardware capabilities, licensing terms and model.
• A Conference Bridge also allow your administrator to allocate DID numbers to conference rooms. Sometimes, a single DID number can also connect callers with the help of an IVR application that prompts for a room number.
• Conference rooms can even have secured PIN numbers that can be customized in case you wish to involve all participants.
• This system also provides a graphical user interface that lets all participants to have a look for the person who is currently speaking and even have options to see who has joined the conference.
• In some cases, Conference Bridge systems can have dynamic meeting rooms that are created as per schedules. Such type of features is mostly seen for the bigger system at places where capacity planning is problematic.
